Just Between Teens Offers
Counseling & Therapy for the Youth of Southwest Florida
Overview
Let's face facts.... life for the youth of our modern day society isn't easy.
Young people today, no matter what economic status, race, or religious preference, are experiencing emotional difficulties in coping with their daily lives.
About 12 million young people under 18 suffer from emotional disorders such as depression, anxiety, suicidal ideation and general inability to "fit in."
Three million children suffer from alcohol abuse and or dependence, and another 12.5 million suffer from drug abuse or dependence.
Southwest Florida is no stranger to the above mentioned statistics, and the problems grow with each passing day. "Just Between Teens" is here to help.

Through counseling and therapy for those who search for a vehicle, we commit ourselves as a helping guiding hand.
These elements, coupled with a meaningful relationship with their Higher Power can set our youth on the right path.
Just Between Teens commits itself and all its capabilities to the youth of Southwest Florida. Come and let us help.

History of Just Between Teens
Witnessing the desperate need in Southwest Florida for a program for troubled youth and their families, James F. DeMaio and Father John J. Mulvey conceived and developed the seeds for the beginnings of a much-needed program that would be open to the youth of Charlotte County.
Beginning with a Group Therapy program for youth with space generously provided by Bon Secours, St Joseph's Hospital at the Charlotte County Mall, we had a beginning. Since those early days in 1996, we have continued to keep our vision for youth alive and growing.
We are presently located at the facility of "Life Transitions" on U.S. 41 in Charlotte County, Florida, and the staff of talented and dedicated counselors and therapists continues to grow.
Our future planning includes the opening of a HalfWay House, and fund raising for this project is now in motion.
