Charlotte County Artist Ileane K. Taylor

Ileane is a local award-winning artist specializing in oil painting and pen-&-ink sketches. Ileane recognized her interest in art during her early teenage years. She continued this interest in art over the years, including various studies at New York and Michigan Universities.

She is an active artist and a member of the Charlotte County Art Guild (CCAG). Ileane currently resides in the City of Punta Gorda.

Ileane's work may be frequently seen in the various Charlotte County Art Guild art exhibits. Other times of the year, her work also may be seen at local banks and restaurants throughout the area.

A student of the Old Masters, she produces a limited number of pieces per year. Many pieces of her art have been purchased and can be found throughout Charlotte County, other parts of the United States and in several countries in Europe. A large number of her pen-&-ink sketches were selected for incorporation in First Federal of Charlotte County Savings Bank's 1990 and 1993 Annual Calendars.
